  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This study aimed to determine the relations among academic stress and self-regulated learning toward social networking addiction at the 12th grade students of Senior High School 5 Samarinda. This research used quantitative method. Research subject consist of 112 students makes researcher used purpossive sampling technique. Data collection method used is academic stress scale, self-regulated learning scale and social networking addiction scale. Research data was analyzed with Pearson Product Moment Correlation Test by the program Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) 20.0 for Windows. These results indicate that there is a positive and significant correlation between academic stress and social networking addiction in the 12th grade of Senior High School 5 Samarinda with r = 0.355 and p = 0.000. In addition, between self-regulated learning and social networking addiction there is also has a negative and significant correlation with r = -0.244 and p = 0.010.
