  • Abstrak (max. 1600 huruf atau 250 kata): This study aims to determine the relationship of fashion involvement with impulsive purchases of fashion products in early adulthood in Samarinda. This research uses quantitative research methods. The subjects of this study were 100 early adults in Samarinda which were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods used are fashion engagement scale and impulsive buying scale. The collected data were analyzed with the Pearson Product Moment analysis test with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program 20.0 for windows. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between fashion involvement and impulsive purchases, which was quite strong with the value of r count = 0.445, greater than the value of r table = 0.197 and the value of p = 0.000 (p <0.050).
